    New Posts/What's New visual error

For reference I'm using Safari 5.0.4 on Mac OS X 10.6.6

I was using the 'What's New?' function and noticed a visual error with the usernames in the Last Post column, the bottom half of the username is cut off. It doesn't impact upon browsing much, but it looks a little odd. You can see what I'm talking about here:

EDIT: I've also just noticed that the right hand side of the page number boxes for search results are cut off too, the ones just above the black bar where it says 'Search took 0.06 seconds.' As the image is cut off (which I mention in my reply a couple of posts down) you can't quite see it here, so you can visit this link to see the full image showing what I'm talking about.

I've also just noticed when posting this:

That image is wider than I'm seeing displayed here. I'm on a 1920x1024 resolution (4:3 monitor), and the right hand side is cut off. vBulletin normally has an image resize feature, but it doesn't seem to be kicking in for me and instead the image is just cut off. I don't know of any other wide images to check if this is the case all over the site, but I thought it worth mentioning as well.

EDIT: Just realised that this forum skin is fixed width, only the background is fluid, so this should be the same for everyone, even those on widescreen. The link to the full image is here, could someone tell me if they see the image in the OP cut off slightly on the right compared to the one you see when you visit that link?

The picture is cut off because you made the size too big. Use an uploader service such as imgur and edit it to be no more than 500px wide and you'll be fine.

Other vBulletin sites I go to have an image resizer which shrinks the image to the required size for the forum skin and adds a yellow bar at the top saying 'click to view full size'. Here's an example from Forge Hub: link.

I'm guessing it's a mod if it isn't on here too. It isn't a massive issue, but some images are just too big to be viewed on the forums and shrinking them makes them awkward to see in detail, or read in the case of screen caps as posted in the link above. I googled vBulletin 4 image resize mod and found a few things, some of which even appear to be free, but I'm not knowledgeable enough to know which one is better or would work etc.

What I know is that there is a custom backend for this that soarchrist (I think) wrote for the site. He's the one that did the development from the site. I would honestly suggest sending a PM to him. PROFILE PAGE
